Back in March I was lucky enough to attend one of the pre conference workshops for DevWeek 2009. After looking through the schedule I decided to check out the Day of .NET Design Patterns which on the face of it sounds quite dull but it was a very very good and worthwhile session.

Kevin Jones & Andy Clymer did a fantastic job of presenting a number of different patters in a very interesting and engaging way. I'd love to have stayed for the full week but at almost £1,500 it's a very expensive proposition. In fact I reckon that you could pay for a week in Vegas and attendance at Mix for just the registration cost for DevWeek.

From the website it looks like DevWeek 2010 is going to be back at the Barbican on the 15th - 19th of March and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a pre conference workshop to anyone. It also looks like Mix will be back in Vegas next year but the dates have still to be announced
